***Please read acceptable payment methods below before bidding. Check my long history of feedback as I deal with ebay members worldwide and due to the nature of the winner wanting to pick up the item, have the item delivered, ship the item, or hold the item, shipping can be an option but is dealt with after the auction ends. Shipping can be estimated and is at cost(actual shipping charges + shipping supplies) to the winner. Shipping supplies such as boxes, shipping peanuts and tape cost money and are the responsibility of the winner.*** ____________________________________________________________________________ Overland Models/OMI UP Union Pacific C-855 Alco Century B Unit. On offer is something really, REALLY special: it’s a totally sealed, unopened, unused NEW Lego 7740 Intercity Train Set from the 1980s. As you can see, everything is in its bags, under the plastic top, ready for you to open for the first time and lovingly assemble, just like it came from a shop 30 years ago! As everybody knows, this is Lego’s highest rated train. It’s much loved and very much sought after. It comes in its original box (of course!), which is pretty good for its age, as you can see. There is a small 6cm split at the hinge point of the lid, on the left hand side, a price sticker mark on one side (see pic) and a scratch on the lid (see pic). It also has the expected eadge wear/limited shelf wear – and the usual dings and other age marks. However, the great thing about this set is the contents. Totally sealed, totally new. They don’t come up like this anymore. The starting price reflects that fact. This is a huge bit of Lego history, so grab it whilst you can! ***** This auction is open to the UK and international buyers (but please note that international postage will be insured airmail or courier, with signature required at destination, and at cost to the buyer) – and this is a PayPal only auction. ***** Good luck, and have fun, bidding!
