WE ARE PROUD TO BRING YOU ONE OF THE FIRST LEGO BUILDING SETS EVER PRODUCED. ORIGINAL 1966 SAMSONITE LEGO 004 MASTER BUILDING SET & ORIGINAL SHIPPING CARTON POSTMARKED. AFA 85 UNCIRCULATED. ACCORDING TO AFA THIS IS THE 1 AND ONLY ORIGINAL 004 LEGO MASTER BUILDING SET IN FACTORY SEALED CONDITION, AND TO PROVE THE PROVINCE THIS SET COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL SHIPPING CARTON FROM SAMSONITE (WHICH OWNED LEGO IN THE LATE 60′S) ALSO ENCAPSULATED BY AFA FOR MANY YEARS OF VIEWING PLEASURE. SO THE STORY GOES WITH THIS PIECE, IN THE LATE 1960′S SAMSONITE MAILED THESE SETS TO THEIR EMPLOYEES FOR CHRISTMAS THIS SET WAS KEPT IN STORAGE UNTIL RECENTLY WHEN IT WAS SENT FOR AUTHENTICATION TO AFA & AND TO THIER SURPRISE, AFA HAD NEVER EVER SEEN THIS VINTAGE LEGO SET IN A FACTORY SEALED CONDITION. THIS IS TRULY ONE OF THOSE PIECES THAT IF YOU ARE A LEGO COLLECTOR OR JUST A VINTAGE COLLECTOR, IT WILL BE THE CENTERPIECE OF YOUR COLLECTION FOR YEARS TO COME.
