This toy is all original including the light bar, face shield and all other parts. It’s complete and in like-new, near mint plus to mint, unplayed with condition. It has pristine snow white tin lithography (not yellowed) and plastic face shield, arms, legs, antenna light bar and oxygen tanks. Vintage white toys tend to yellow over time and show imperfections very easily. This is not the case with this toy, it is in like-new condition with a bright, clean, glossy finish. The face shield is original and is clear with no fogging and has no cracks or breaks in it. The battery compartment is clean and free of rust and corrosion. The toy works perfectly and when switched on, he walks forward with his arms moving back & forth while the lighted antenna above his head rotates and the red and green lights illuminate. The Marx Toy logo, C Louis Marx & Co Inc MCMLXVIII and Made in Japan are printed on the back of the toy. Measures 12″ high. The illustrated box is original, complete including protective inserts and is in very good condition. There was a glue repair made to a tear in the upper left corner of the box. When repaired, the graphics were slightly misaligned as pictured. The box features a wonderful illustration of the actual toy on a moon walk and displays wonderfully.
