The original 1966 Hess Voyager Ship *Please note – when this auction was last active, the final bid was very close to the reserve price* In 1966 a replica of a Hess tanker ship, “The Hess Voyager” was issued. Made in the U.S.A. by the Marx Toy Co. It measures 18 inches long. White bow and stern lights and green and red starboard and port lights. The ship is equipped with roller wheels. “Hess Voyager” decals on the sides and stern and Hess logos on both sides of the smoke stack. Features include three masts, flag, anchors and a propeller. Very colorful box with silk-screen pictures of home delivery scenes and Hess facilities. Extremely difficult to find, the only ship ever made by Hess. Only 150,000 made and now worth over $3,000. Very rare in to find in this good of condition w/ box. Ship comes with original box. Both ship and box in very good condition. No missing parts to ship. No battery card, and only 1 insert. Decals are original but peeling. “Hess Voyager Sticker” is white lettering on a clear background (authentic). FREE Shipping.
