We are selling some of our old toys that have been with us for a while, downsizing for our new office, Here we have an Extremely Rare Boat-tail Vindex Speed-Demon Racer from the 30’s. It is a long low “Racey” racer with truly great lines. It is painted silver with gold highlights, with the number 2 on the side of the car, slip on real rubber tires and an original “Vindex” decal. The silver body is very good with some wear to the high spots. The removeable driver is a recast and the tires are of a more modern vintage, even so it is a very desirable racer. It measures 11 1/4 long, 3 5/8 wide, 3 7/8 high in inches of course, and weighs 2 1/2 pounds. Vindex Toys were manufactured by the toy division of the National Sewing Machine Company of Belvedere Ill.Please look at the pictures and ask any and all questions, being sold as seen as is.
