Overland Brass 2 rail D&RGW SD40T-2. I purchased this unit new in October 1993. It has zero hours usage. It has been on display in my den with my other brass collection. It does run, as I tested it on a six foot piece of track back when purchased. It is still in the same condition as when purchased. This unit has a slight amount of weathering on it as Rio Grande ran very dirty because of the tunnels. It is in flawless condition, as I dust it once per month to keep it like new. After 17 years my O scale brass is up for sale. If you have never seen O scale Overland, it is the finest made. The detail is incredible. PLEASE contact me about shipping as the shipping fee is very basic. I would recommend insurance and also what method to ship as well. My UPS driver just dumps stuff at my front door and drives off. Not good for something of this value. I would plan on shipping fee’s of $20.00 I suppose. Depends where you are located. Update: My wife (Cathy) reminded me that one of the lights at the top of the cab didn’t work. There are two lights that work (they should) at the top of the cab, and two lights in the nose. I forgot about that, but she didn’t. It is a simple little bulb, but I am not familiar on how to remove the top of these models. My HO and N scale just pulled apart. But these seem more detailed regarding maintenance, etc. I am sure a phone call to Overland would suffice as how to disassemble this engine if one were so inclined. Thanks. Update Saturday AM 3/6/2010 Never trust your wife. I pulled out my 6 foot section of O track and hooked up the power pack. Ran the engine back and forth. All lights are working. There are two vertical lights above the cab, two vertical lights at the top of the nose, and one light at each corner of the top of the nose. All work. It is my SP GP-35 with the non-working light. Sorry. I would recommend that the wheels be cleaned with one of those Kadee Speedi Driver Cleaners #843 as there is some dirt/dust buildup, if you intend on actually running this engine. There is one for sale on Ebay for $11.95.
