100% Original and Complete ROCKET MAN IN SPACE ARMOR made by Alps / Rosko (Japan) in the 1950’s. This battery operated remote controlled robot works very strong and as it should. There are many actions to this desirable robot…………when the right button is depressed on the remote control, the robot walks forward with swinging arms and spinning antenna, he has an illuminated red head light, illuminated green eyes and illuminated red side plates on both sides of his head, pistons pump and kaleidoscope effects can be seen in his chest. The left button controls the countdown meter (large clock on his chest) and individual firing of the rockets. When the button is depressed the clock dial starts spinning and the rockets fire one at a time. Hard to find toy, especially in this high end condition. The detailed lithographed tinplate is very bright, clean and colorful. When the robots head is tilted back it reveals a beautiful tinplate astronaut head with a light in the center of the helmet. The Original correct green two button remote control in is pristine condition and has it’s Original paper insert and Original remote wire. Rockets are both ORIGINAL and are stamped Made In Japan, one rocket has a burn mark at the tip. **Original Rockets are SCARCE and very hard to locate** This very imposing Robot stands a very impressive 16 inches high! This SCARCE toy displays very well, is in C9.5 condition, and looks to have little to no playwear. This particular example would be very hard to upgrade. Any glare or white spots that you may see in the auction pictures are from the artificial lighting used while taking the auction pictures, they are NOT on the toy.
