HTF HOHM INSTRUCTION MODEL ENGINE CLUTCH TRANSMISSION

From my personal collection comes this very old Hohm Germany driving school cutaway instruction model. If you think, hey I recently have seen a similar one before you are right! This one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7wZx8Now2Y&feature=channel sold a while ago here on ebay at if I remember well $1250. The one I have for auction is the very first from this series and has besides the engine – almost like in the video – a real working clutch and 3 speed / neutral and reverse transmission! This very rare Hohm model dates from the early 1950’s and is, as pictures show, in perfect but used condition. All I did was clean it, replaced 2 sparkplugs and put a drop of oil on the gears. It will be hard to find a better one! Instead of the plastic parts used on later models this one has for instance an all metal transmission and clutch housing and all metal gears! Another thing making it very rare is, it not only has an electric motor to run the engine etc but one can use the crank for showing the transmission functions as well if not plugged in. I never had one in my (huge) instruction model collection before with this option. Measurements are 14 x 13 x 10 inches and it’s shipping weight will be around 8lbs. A very handsome model to put on your desk and show / teach everyone the engine – transmission and clutch functions. As for it’s electric motor, you can use a 6 volts transformer (like a 6v battery charger) and hook it up underneath on the build in 220 – 6 volts transformer. For those interested in old scientific instruction models from all over the world, please ask, I probably have what you are looking for! From the very first, only 1 known, 1940’s Hohm chassis model up to an over 100 years old made in the USA one! 1 – 3 – 4 cylinder cutaway engines- 2 / 4 stroke, diesel, rotary (Wankel), steam // engines with and without transmissions & clutches, complete drive trains & 2 & 4wd (double transmissions) chassis models // trailers // steering models // stick shift and automatic transmission models // rear axle – differential models // car & truck brake models // light models etc etc. Car motorcycle truck scooter airplane agriculture bicycle train submarine radio controlled, you name it and I have something related I think. From a 1930’s tiny little 3.5 inches 2 stroke salesman sample / demonstrator engine (like the Willy’s Knight cutaway, just smaller and rarer) up to an early 1960’s 7.5 ft Fiat chassis model. I also have some very rare documentation’s & parts on cutaway models for those interested. Another thing I have and you will not find anywhere world wide is the largest collection on magnetic models used on a metal instruction board. Cars motorcycles scooters mopeds traffic lights road signalisation figures traffic lights (German) city signs etc etc. I wouldn’t be surprised if I have over 1500 of them dating from before WW2 up to the 60’s. I’m NO dealer, just collected this stuff for around 30+ years and need room! If you have a question, please be a little specific because I can’t answer a question like, do you have a cutaway diesel engine, because I have to many to list. A lot of the German instruction models you find on youtube once belonged to me but I still have a lot more of them.
