Here we have an Accucraft D&RGW K28 in it’s Bumbleebee paint scheme. The prototype had it’s Bumblebee colors back in the fifties while pulling the yellow coaches on the D&RGW. This is a very nice locomotive with a ton of great detail and all brass construction. The locomotive has only ran indoors on a track powered layout, as seen in the pictures. There is Sierra K28 sound installed in the tender with whistle, bell, air pump effects, and exhaust chuff. Everything works with no issues on this loco. It does need wide curves to properly track and will derail otherwise. This is a very heavy locomotive and will pull an extremely large amount of rolling stock. This locomotive has been out of production for some time now. The part number for this is AC88-172. At this time I do not have the owners manual for the loco. Accucraft has these listed online in a downloadable pdf file. Both engine and tender and still in their original packaging and original boxes. Depending on the buyer’s desire, the two can be shipped together (price seen on here) or I can ship the engine and tender seperate. Please let me know ahead of time. At the discretion of the buyer at the time of purchase a declared value can be established for coverage during shipping. With UPS this is a $2/$100 fee after the first $100. With USPS $7.70 plus $1.00 per $100 or fraction thereof over $600 in declared value. Other services such delivery confirmation will be up to the buyer as well. These fees will be added to the sale at checkout. I’m sure there is a lot of information that I left out that I can’t think of right now. PLEASE ask me any questions that you have and I will be more than happy to answer them for you. And please make sure you ask before the auction is over. Thank you much.
