This is a rare ONE OWNER, (FRESH to the Market),1950’s large tin friction #58″ATOM JET RACER”, Made by Yonezawa, Japan, a very impressive toy. It has very bright teal colors, extensive graphic images that surround this futuristic streamlined auto, enclosed cockpit with nickel plated cage frame, friction driven, rubber tires have nickel hubs, hood lights add to overall dramatic styling, interesting to note graphics appear on the undercarriage as well. This is one of the most sought after tin friction cars ever to come out of Japan . Measuring nearly 27” in length, the car is also reported to be the largest tin friction toy car ever made. Part race car, part jet, part space car, this car is really something else to hold in your hands. This car is in fantastic condition, the friction works like new with a loud sound. The car shows very little play wear and is still very bright, the owner (from Canada)tells me when he was very young he lost one of the hubcaps so he took the other 3 off and can’t find them, a friend in Chicago sold me a set and they look great . Look at all the pictures they are part of the description. This toy is in very good condition. If you need more pictures let me know, I will need your email address to send them to you.
