1960’s Style Type 2 Single Cab VW Pedal Car, customized, lowered and done up in the Mooneyes colors and logos. This pedal car is number 28 of 28 built in the last 16 years and is made by Rocky Mountain Pedal Car Co. To date I have made 10 Single Cabs, 2 Panel Vans, 9 23 Window Buses, 3 21 Window Buses and 4 Double Cabs. This pedal car is hand made by myself out of 22-gage steel, with steel bumpers, all steel frame and running gear and I also make the headlights. The windows are 1/16” thick lexan and will not break. The wheels, tire, hubcaps, pedals and steering wheel are all reproduction Murray pedal car parts. But these wheels have been modified to fit the custom aluminum disks and the shifter is just for looks. This car measures 46 inches long, 21 inches high, 18 inches wide and weighs around 40 pounds. I try to make 2 or 3 pedal cars a year on my spare time. These cars are located mostly in the USA but there are two in the UK, three in the Netherlands, one in Canada, one in Sweden, two in Japan and one in Germany. Shipping is by UPS in the USA and Canada and UPS air for all others unless you arrange your own shipping method. Shipping costs that are posted by ebay are NOT accurate and shipping varies by location and anyone outside of Canada or the USA must request a shipping quote before bidding. I will send an invoice once auction has ended. On average shipping in Canada is $100 to $150 and $150 to $200 for the USA and much higher for other countries. You can e-mail me for a shipping quote. Parent supervision is strongly recommended as I make the cars with much detail and would hate to have a little VW lover get their finger pinched in one of the gates.
