MARX, MADE IN JAPAN, “HI-BOUNCER MOON SCOUT, CIRCA 1967 The battery operated, remote, lithographed tinplate and plastic, when first button on remote is activated, the astronaut: 1. struts forward 2. arms move 3. whirling lighted copter on head When second button is activated, the astronaut: 1. chest door opens 2. fires hi-bouncer balls (1 original and 4 replacement styrofoam balls) SCARCE ROBOT AND BOX. CONDITION IS NEAR MINT WITH EXCELLENT ORIGINAL BOX. HEIGHT IS 11 1/2″ This Robot is considered very, very hard to find. This is the last Robot made for Marx in Japan. Right after this piece was made, Marx moved all their foreign import operations back to the United States. This Robot resembles the Colonel Hap Hazard toy. They are essentially the same except that this guy has a corded remote control and has revised decoration. IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND WITH ITS ORIGINAL BOX!!! THE PICTURES TELL THE STORY.
