Overland Models Milwaukee F-7 Hudson 2-Rail O Scale Original Box and Foam Overland imported this exquisitely detailed model of Milwaukee Road’s Otto Kuhler styled F-7 Hudson about 20 years ago unpainted. The model up for auction happens to be the first production Overland Milwaukee Hudson, and the one that was custom painted for Tom Marsh for a color advertising photo shoot. A Xerox copy of one of those ads is also included (see photo). Later, Overland disposed of it and it ended up in my collection. The model is complete and in excellent condition with almost no run time. I regret that I don’t recall who was doing Overland’s custom painting back then, but as the photos should attest, he did a beautiful job of decorating the piece with a few accents that one does not see in other factory painted production models of the F-7. The original box and foam are included. All in all, a very handsome and unusual model of a lovely piece of midwestern motive power. Please examine photos carefully before bidding. PAYMENT Sadly, I must collect 7% Sales Tax on items sold to buyers in the financially and politically impoverished state of New Jersey. I will send you a final invoice following close of auction and include the actual shipping cost. Unless other arrangements are made in advance, payment is expected within 7 days of end of auction. On the 6th day I will send you ONE reminder. On the 7th day I will file a non-payment complaint. On higher priced items I am open to reasonable arrangements, so if you cannot pay immediately, please email me before bidding . Under current eBay rules, I can only offer to accept PayPal or cash-in-hand. Feel free to contact me regarding alternate payment. You may also pick up the item in person and avoid all shipping costs. See below. SHIPPING I consider it unethical (and just lowdown sneaky!) to use shipping and handling as a profit base! Buyer pays only the actual cost of shipping. My preferred method of shipping is by by USPS Priority mail. (The Eagle provides me with free boxes.) If actual shipping is less than paid, I will refund the difference.(International refunds thru PayPal only.) Shipments with a value of $100 or more are insured through ShipSaver. Combined Shipment: If you are currently bidding on additional items, and want me to hold an item for combined shipment, email me and let me know. Once an item or items has been paid, it will be shipped immediately! I am willing to combine up to THREE items, or a total value of $100. OUTSIDE USA – I will ship anywhere that USPS allows, but the buyer is responsible for ALL shipping costs, customs fees, etc. I am flexible in how item is described for customs purposes (Crafts, Scale Models, Toys, etc.), but PLEASE DO NOT ASK me to understate item value, or declare item as a gift! A paltry $1.00 service charge is added to all international shipments. PERSONAL DELIVERY: I am located in Somerville, New Jersey. I will personally deliver any item within 10 miles (or so) at the same rate as Priority Mail.
