I posted some of these last month, and the same scenario applies this month. No one is really sure exactly what the restrictions are on these, and most people aren’t going to be able to use them. Last time however, a few people did let me know that they worked.

So, it’s always worth a shot right?

CJULY0810P – 10% off. This is either active after July 8th, or only on July 8th.

20OFF50WEB – 20% off your purchase of $50.00 or more. $10 off a $50 Purchase, $20 off a $100 purchase etc. Pretty sure that this on expired on the 10th.

CTHANKS0810D - $10 off $50.00 when paying through PayPal.

CTHANKS50 – $50 off one purchase via PayPal. If you get this one to work, congratulations.

Now, don’t figure the discount into your purchase price as experience shows they won’t work for most people. If they do work for you however, it’s a nice little bonus.

I have thought quite a lot, about opening my own online store. Selling toys obviously. While I am quite a techy individual, there is one thing that worries me though. Shopping Cart Software. Now, Shopping Cart Software, or even any ecommerce software for that matter, is an enormous category, offering hundreds of options. There are loads of free open source solutions as well as ones that cost hundreds thousands of dollars.

Obviously the last is out of my price range and I do not want an open source option either – I am way too paranoid about security. I have been looking at the shopping cart software offered by http://www.ashopcommerce.com, and I think there the perfect solution for me.

they are a hosted solution, which means no hardcore setup on my end, and no risk of my server being compromised. Also, since everything is web based for the interface, and extremely easy to use, I can have other people make updates if I ever need to.

I am trying out the 10 day free trial, and so far I think it is definitely work it. Makes selling online a breeze. It has lots of features I wanted too, Search Engine Optimization, Paypal Integration and more. All the goodies to make a fully functional shopping cart that people will actually use.
